The Tula Baby Carrier Infant Insert enables you to comfortably carry your small infant or newborn. It is necessary for babies weighing between 7-15 pounds. By using the insert, you can ensure that your baby's head and neck receive sufficient support and that their spine develops properly in a front carry position.

The Infant Insert is equipped with an integrated harness, which securely holds your baby in place. We recommend using the Infant Insert with our standard-sized Tula Baby Carrier for a secure and comfortable fit for small infants. You can continue using the insert until your baby is capable of sitting independently with their knees freely hanging down in an ergonomic spread squat position and weighs a minimum of 15 pounds.

Please note that when carrying a small infant or newborn, we do not advise using any other modifications or products with our Standard Tula Baby Carrier. The Infant Insert is not designed for use in a back carry position or with our Toddler-sized Tula Baby Carrier.

With the Tula Baby Carrier Infant Insert, you can carry your small infant or newborn in your Standard Tula Baby Carrier from birth until they weigh 15 pounds. This allows for a comfortable and secure carrying experience for both you and your baby.

It is only when your baby is capable of sitting independently with their knees dangling down freely in an ergonomic spread squat position and weighs a minimum of 15 pounds, that you can stop using the insert.

We advise against using any other carrier modification or product when carrying a small infant or newborn with our Standard Tula Baby Carrier.
